The H&K MP5 submachine gun is a common weapon utilized by both law enforcement and the Kulva members. However there have been numerous reports and accounts of these weapons causing unusual events when utilized by Kulva members. While it is rare to acquire those used by the Family, when they do the police attempt to study these to see if there are any unusual anomalies but so far none have been found. As far as they can tell these weapons have not been tampered or modified with and perform as designed.
The strange accounts that follow the Family include the weapon discharging electrically charged projectiles. Officers shot by the weapon also suffered up to 50,000 volts of electricity, incapacitating them even if the injury was minor. Loose wires are sometimes used as an explanation. Other accounts include highly flammable rounds that ignite instantaneously, although many believe this to be the usage of incendiary rounds. The strangest account so far was that of a corrosive projectile that ate through pursuit vehicle engines.
The real explanation is that these weapons when utilized by supernatural Kulva members do possess the ability to infuse the weapon to give it's projectile an extra effect to aid them against law enforcement. However only those with latent magical abilities can utilize this effect.
